HIKE Inc. 19 at Mt Macedon was a free way to enjoy the best of a fine, fresh Sunday - the steep 1.5km at the start of the hike, the glorious views at Memorial Cross, the brisk walk to Camels Hump and again great view, the clear damp and fresh air, the singing of HIKE Inc. theme songs (mostly x-rated but with some family friendly options), the wombat and snow gum spotting, the 5.5 hours of moderate-difficulty walking - all free! Oh actually, we did need to pay for something ... the coffees and chai teas and deliciously warmed-up white chocolate and pistachio brownies at the cafe at the start of the hike!
The next hike will be on 1 July at Lerderderg Gorge.
