Cliff-backed beaches, superb coastal views and a wonderful ironbark forest. Enough to interest you in a 14.5km, 4-5 hour, easy/moderate hike at Bells Beach & Ironbark Forest? Time: Meet at 10am for a 10.30am start
Where: Bells Beach car park, Torquay, 105km from Melbourne
Getting there:
Drive 75km to Geelong, then a further 22km to Torquay. Continue west along the Great Ocean Road for 3km, turning left on Bells Beach Road. Follow the signs to Bells Beach, which is reached in a further 4km. Park near the toilet block at the southern end of the carpark.
Please let me know if you're coming on the hike. And as always please bring wet weather gear, water, lunch and snacks.
